A “physical literacy day” aimed at improving student’s fundamental movements was recently held at OMSK, Six Nations. Six Nations Parks and Recreation sponsored the event along with the OMSK Home and School Committee. The program promotes healthy living and physical skills and was developed by OMSK physical education teacher Travis Anderson. Each class had an opportunity to rotate through the stations. Feedback was good, and there will be further such activities in the future.
